What is Abraxas?

Abraxas gives your business AI employees that answer the phone, reply to email, book meetings and follow up, with one AI layer across voice, email, chat, calendar and CRM. It is operated by Abraxas Technologies (Pty) Ltd, Cape Town, South Africa.

Will the AI send anything without my approval?

New AI employees start in shadow mode: nothing goes out until you approve it in the review queue. An autonomy dial lets you raise or lower how much they do on their own, at any time.

Do the AI employees say they are AI?

Yes. Every call made or answered by a voice AI employee opens with a disclosure that it is an automated AI assistant and that the call is recorded, and it never claims to be human, including when asked.

Who is responsible for consent to call or email someone?

You decide whom your AI employees contact, and you are responsible for holding the consents the law requires. People who say stop, including on a call, are recorded as opted out and are not contacted again. See AI calling and the rules that apply.

What does Abraxas cost?

There are Starter, Growth, Scale and Enterprise plans, with add-on AI employees. Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes. The current prices, allowances and the founding offer are on the pricing page.

How am I billed, and can I cancel?

For now Abraxas bills by invoice, and card payment is not yet available. You can cancel a monthly plan online in your account settings at any time; you keep access to the end of the month you have paid for. The Terms set out the details.

Which calls are included?

Included voice minutes cover calls to and from US and Canada numbers. International calling is off unless an account owner turns it on, and the rate for each destination is shown before it is turned on.

Can I get my data out?

Yes. You can export your company data at any time. After a customer's access ends, Abraxas keeps the account data for 30 days so it can be exported, and then deletes it, except where the law requires records to be kept. See the Privacy notice.
